Engagement: Murry and Andrea

Murry is the "younger" brother to Tom, who belongs to a great family that is from my home town. Murry was much much more willing with these photos than his older brother was. Tom was actually pained during the photo shoot, while I think Murry maybe, kinda, sorta enjoyed it. Well I know he at least figured out that picture taking = lots of kisses from his bride-to-be.

Murry and Andrea's photo shoot was at Avery Ranch Golf Club where there reception will be held. They both did a great job! There was a lot of smiling and laughing, which you will be able to see. It's always refreshing to shoot engagements. It's fun for me to be able to experience the excitement two couples share before their big day!

Look out Murry because Andrea is going to be a stunning bride!! Enjoy!

this one was definitely a joke.... :)

a sweet moment...
and gone in a flash...like I said, lots of laughing
I love the mood of this one

Wedding: Jason and Amy

I'm terrible because I never blogged Jason and Amy's beautiful wedding that was held in Grapevine. So here is a little slide show.

Anytime: Riley

Word of mouth is such a powerful tool, especially for photographers. It's such a wonderful feeling when an old client refers you to a new client, which is exactly how I came across this adorable 12 year old. School was starting, and unfortunately for Riley, he was going to have to chop that stylin' hair off in order to start middle school football. His mom and dad wanted to remember him with his locks, so that is why they called me. They drove up to Austin, from my hometown La Grange, to have a more urban feel, which is totally Riley. More so than the open fields and antique shops of La Grange and the surrounding areas. We were holding our breath that the black clouds, crazy winds and rain would hurry up and pass over downtown Austin before we began. Well we sure did get lucky! The black clouds cleared and the sun poked through enough to have some beautiful lighting for the shoot!

Thanks Riley for not getting too annoyed with me and my constant telling you to
brush that hair out of your eyes. You were a joy to take pictures and I look forward
to doing it again!
