Ross and Leota: Wedding

Tonight's wedding was one of the most touching by far. These two didn't give up on love after they both lost their spouses, but instead embraced this second chance at love. Ross and Leota have an unbelievable faith in God and say that only He could have brought them together.

I wish you two all the love and may your story be a testament to everyone. As Ross' daughter said in her toast - Ross was a dead man walking until Leota brought him back (or something like that), let that tell you that at any age God can bless two people and make a marriage happen.

Have fun hopping from now both of your two homes in Austin and New Mexico!! God Bless...

Sarah+Aaron : Engagements

It was going to be a new semester for the two of us. It was our senior year at North Texas, and I was coming back from a summer that I soon wanted to forget. I walked into our apartment and told my room mate that it's a new year and let's vow to be hot, single ladies and stick together. When Sarah's face broke into her big, giddy grin I knew I was going to be the only single one in that apartment. Go figure that the week before I got back, Sarah would run into the "hot guy with cornrows from the gym" that she had bumped into a few times over her years at UNT. Never before were both of them single, (I'm pretty sure he had stood her up once) and I guess the chance finally presented itself and neither could turn it down.

I was a little sour at first, but soon (very soon) realized that this wasn't just "the guy from the gym," but rather a super sweet, good-looking, incredibly smart and focused man, that my room mate and friend would fall in love with.

Sarah and Aaron couldn't be more perfect together. Not to mention striking when together! I always talk about how pretty their babies are going to be - I'm not saying anything about the future child's lips, but let's just say you won't miss them - and I can't wait for the day that little one arrives. But I guess we have to get through the wedding first. Come July 4th two wonderful people will become man and wife and my old roomie won't be little sarahbell anymore but Mrs. Aaron (Bell) Lawry. :)

Sarah you have been a wonderful friend who was there with me through all those wonderful times of college, and all those college times you might wanna forget! I love both of you and I can't wait to stand at y'alls side and witness two lives becoming one. (wow cheezy... so lets get to the photos!!)

Rachel

Rachel, my sister's new "niece," asked me a few weeks back to shoot her Senior Portraits....She's planning, well at least it's an option, for her to attend UT so she wanted to do the shoot here in Austin, choosing the fun and funky South Congress.... here's a few favorites.

Full Moon

Watch out...it's a full moon tonight!! When I got a text from my kindergarten teacher friend, Stacy, letting us all know tonight's moon is the fullest of the year, I wanted to try and capture it. I've never tried taking a picture of the moon, and it's actually harder than I thought. Because the moon is so bright, and a full moon is even brighter it's really hard to get all the cool details on the moon's surface. I learned that when the moon is full, the sun is directly behind it, making the moon look more washed out...so note to self, pictures of the moon come out with more detail if it's NOT a full one. I'll try again sometime.... but here's what I got anyway even without a long lens. And watch out.... is it werewolves or vampires that come out on a full moon... oh and lots of babies born!
