Carrie and John: Wedding

As they sat side by side amongst their friends and family, listening to the words of their love story - you knew this was it. When John looks at Carrie he sees his new wife, the love of his life (which it didn't take him long to decide either) and the mother of his future children. He sees a fiery red-head who captured his heart and feels confident that she love him back.

John and Carrie's wedding was held at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Serbin - the same church that almost every member of their family has wed. The day flowed effortlessly, so dream like and romantic because of the rain - which thankfully bothered no one.

As a testament to John and Carrie's fun-loving relationship and personality they kicked off their new marriage where? Vegas!! Congratulations to the both of you! I couldn't be more happy to have shared in your day!! Best of luck but you won't need it - all that rain gave you at least 50 great years!

Now back to the wedding day - The Groom!




The flower girls were soooo adorable - probably my most favorite little dresses ever!




Announcing Mr. and Mrs. John Hinze!




It was very rainy - I'm out in the open with a handsome groomsmen holding an umbrella for me - so we had to stay indoors for the after ceremony pictures.
But hey we made it work!

The First Dance.
So in case you are not from a small bohemian/Czech,German town - and in case you are wondering what these people are doing interrupting their first dance - it's tradition to circle around the bride and groom then randomly throughout the first dance "rush" them - fun for them kinda scary for me!
Brother/Sister dance.

So another tradition - this one VERY new to me. Towards the end of the night I was scared to death by loud, I mean VERY loud banging on metal. Well as the story goes in the olden days the people who were not invited to weddings would stand outside banging until the bride and groom would bring them beer. This is now known as the "Chivalry" and the GUESTS bang and bang until every glass is full. Here even Grandma and the flower girls are helping out.
And finally sealed with a kiss!
